As a Design Intern at the MIT Design Lab, I worked to reimagine the current tailoring process of a luxury Italian fashion brand that caters to elite clients.

I joined the team at the beginning of the project, starting by conducting extensive secondary research that explored emerging technologies to understand the realm we were trying to innovate in. This research, combined with primary research conducted with salespeople in the brand’s flagship stores and tailors at their headquarters, eventually resulted in the development of an ecosystem of tangible interfaces to streamline the process.

My contributions throughout this project included user research and analysis, brainstorming, concept-mapping and clustering, and low-fidelity wireframing, concept development and final presentation. We wrapped this project in December 2018 with an internal demonstration for our client, including physical prototypes of ecosystem elements that demonstrated key functions, as well as a concept video.
